It's been quite some time since I've been able to sit down and blog about how I've been doing and what I've been up to lately! I'm blessed to say that I have been swamped! Weddings, Engagements, shows galore!
For those of you that don't know, this wasn't full-time for me until the COVID-19 pandemic hit us like a slap in the face. I was an employee at a private elementary school and they let me go. I wasn't worth keeping around like I thought I was when this pandemic came through. When I no longer worked there I decided to take the next step with my photography business by getting my LLC, officially buying the business name since my father hadn't gotten the chance to before he passed away & pulled out loans to get my advertising going hardcore.
I have been fortunate enough that my husband and I own a separate company that I didn't have to go back to working for someone else and really take the plunge into my photography. In the year since the pandemic I have done multiple weddings, engagements, countless rodeos/shows, mini shoots galore, and tons more!

I am happy to announce we are the official photographer of the Pac West events that are held in Ocala, Williston & Trenton. Phyllis & her amazing crew and team are amazing and I get to spend 3 day weekends taking amazing photos with my new assistant Lisa and also take images at their 1 day events throughout the year.

I have been blessed to be able to shoot so many people and their families in a year's time and really show off my skills and I could not do that without the amazing people that took a chance on me and believed in my work. I've been able to travel around Florida (and some of Georgia, so far) and take great photos and create memories for people and that is all I have ever wanted to do since my father gave this company to me. I have become a multiple published photographer and have had my images used in magazines, advertisements and more!

I've been able to create amazing stallion advertisements and photos for people all around Florida and even outside the state of Florida. I've been able to reach out to other business owners that need logos and advertisements created and take their vision and make it a reality.

But most of all, I have been able to create basically something from such a small seed that my dad had created and turn it into a big deal! I battle with anxiety and depression sometimes daily and still am grieving from the death of my father, but I can tell you, taking photos for people not only brightens my day, but it gives me purpose! I absolutely love creating these memories for clients. I love hearing the feedback from customers and followers and I love making sure I get those lifetime memories for you all! I know that if my father were still on this earth that he would be more than happy and proud of me and how much I have succeeded in the time that I have become the sole owner of Blue Creek Photography, LLC.

I want to specifically thank everyone that has hired me as their photographer for choosing me! In the photography world it is dog-eat-dog and everyday it seems like there are new people buying cameras and starting to do photography. I always strive to have THE BEST images and I am nowhere near as good as some of the people I look up to but I intend to get there and if it weren't for you I wouldn't be where I am today! So, thank you, from the bottom of my heart!
