Mini Shoots Galore!

So this past month I have been trying to break out of my comfort zone as a self-taught photographer and I decided to offer discounted "mini shoots". I asked a dear friend of mine if I could borrow her 2 awesome kiddos and then grabbed a bunch of my own personal home decor and Christmas/holiday decor and set it all up in my side yard next to my horse pasture and BOOM! a mini shoot! I chose to do them $30/30min and included 5 digitals and a print release, and THEY WERE A HUGE HIT! I posted about the on all the community pages on social media and within a few days I was booked up for a few weeks! I was able to work my normal full-time job, come home and do my stuff around the house and set up and still be able to get a few sessions in per day! It was a great way for customers to come out, get their holiday pictures done with their kids and of their kids and a great way to meet new people.

So I have decided to stick with it and possibly offer more mini shoot sessions like this in the future with different themes.

I scheduled all throughout the month of November and even decided since my husband and I were hosting our family Thanksgiving get-together that we would even get "proper" family pictures done!

Now, the next task will be to get my own Christmas card photos done... With my 3 horses, 1 goat, 3 dogs and husband... STAY TUNED!
